Sinaloan Trio Los Hijos de Barron ("Sons of Barron") was founded in 2009 by brothers Jose Iram Barron Ramos (lead vocals, guitar), Jesus Iday Barron Ramos (guitar) and David Alonso Leyva Gamez (bass, harmony vocals). Their 2011 debut album Puros Corridos featured the single "El Proceder de Manuel," which garnered on both sides of the border.

Sinaloense Hecho y Derecho, released in 2014, was a major breakthrough for the brothers. The title track was an immediate hit and the follow-up single, "Mi Pequeno Mundo," fared even better. In 2016, the album Loe Que Pesa Mi Palabra produced the hit "Juro Quererte" and peaked at No. 3 on the Hot Latin Albums charts.

Formed in 2005 in Sinaloa, Los Alegres Del Barranco have come to personify the region's sound, performing Rancheras, romanticas and corridos for audiences throughout Mexico and the American southwest. The quartet's most popular albums include Me Dan Celos, Hoy soy yo and Corridos con Banda.
