Spotlight 29 Casino is proud to present An Evening With Eric Paslay on Saturday, June 23rd at 8 p.m. Well known in Nashville circles as a songwriter for other artists, Paslay stepped into the spotlight in 2014 with the Top 5 hit “Friday Night” from his self-titled debut. The album peaked at No. 4 on the country chart and went on to produce two other well-received singles (“Song About A Girl” and “She Don’t Love You”). Paslay also co-wrote Jake Owens’ “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” and the Will Hoge/Eli Young Band song “Even If It Breaks Your Heart,” both of which went to No. 1 on the country chart.
In 2015, Paslay was featured alongside Dierks Bentley on Charles Kelley’s debut single, “The Driver,” which received a Grammy nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. Later that year, Paslay released “High Class” as the lead single to his sophomore album. A follow-up single, “Angels in This Town,” dropped in 2016.
